How to File a Complaint
If you have concerns about the conduct of a licensed builder or seller, you can file a complaint with the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA). Providing detailed information and supporting documentation will help ensure a thorough review of your concerns.
Information Required to Submit a Complaint
- Your Contact Information: Include your name, email address, and/or phone number.
- Licensee Information: Provide the name of the licensee (individual or company) and any specific person within the company who is the subject of the complaint.
- Details of the Complaint: Clearly describe the issue, including who was involved, what happened, and when and where it occurred.
- Supporting Documentation: Attach any relevant documents or evidence such as the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and other contracts. The HCRA may request additional information if needed.
