We are thrilled to share some of our achievements from this past year. With this only being Year 2 of the Research & Education program, we can’t wait to see how much we can all achieve together in 2026!
The Research & Education team published two industry technical briefs – What Builders Need to Know About Radon and Avoiding Common Callback Issues. We also published one document for homeowners – What Every Homeowner Should Know About Radon.
We could not have done this without the help of many great partners such as Building Knowledge Canada, RDH, Tarion, and many more who helped us create these resources.
We started a YouTube channel and have six videos, including the first in the Home Building & Beyond series – a case study about noise abatement in stacked townhomes.
We hosted three Innovation & Best Practices events, bringing together builders, building officials, and industry experts, as well as helped host two Code Update sessions that spanned multiple municipalities to increase local consistency.
We also launched the Home Building & Beyond Newsletter. This year, we sent out five industry newsletters and one consumer newsletter, titled Home Ownership & Beyond.
