The Canadian – National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) has a database to help you find local professionals who have been trained specifically in radon mitigation, so you can have ease of mind that your new mitigation system will be installed successfully. You can also a hire a radon professional to test your home for you.

If your house is less than seven years old, radon is covered under the Ontario New Home Warranty, through Tarion. If the 3-month average is over 200 Bq/m³, contact your builder to request they remediate the issue.
